Ms. Marites Pamulo-Labaguez completed her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Santo Tomas in 1990. She worked as a teacher at Aurora A. Quezon Elementary School for 23 years (1991 -2014) rising through the ranks from Teacher I to Master Teacher II. She became principal of the Arsenio C. Herrera Elementary School from 2013-2015. As principal, she was able to significantly improve the ranking of AC Herrera Elementary School in the National Achievement Test Grade VI (Rank 11 out of 72 schools in Manila). At present, she is the principal of Juan Sumulong Elementary School.
She likewise held key positions in other organizations. She was the Prep District Coordinator of YWCA Y. She was recognized as the Outstanding Alumni in the Field of Education by the Wesminster High School in 2015, and Outstanding Master Teacher in the Field of Music.
